Describe your role with The Stahl Companies.
CS: I am a Project Manager doing occasional work for clients on Interior Design.
How did you become interested in a career in construction?
CS: I’ve always enjoyed the process of design and watching something go from design, to drawings, to a final built project.
What has challenged you most as you’ve progressed through the industry?
CS: Helping clients to “visualize” a design and how it will look/function along with helping clients understand how the design/construction process unfolds and the sequencing of work.
How did you overcome that challenge?
CS: Technology – drawings, CAD, renderings and by touring similar sites. By taking time to “walk" clients through the process and answer questions and concerns.
Was there one person who was instrumental in getting you through that challenge?
CS: My college professor, Buie Harwood.

CS: Organization, strategic thinking, creativity, and the ability to problem solve – think outside the box.

CS: One of my sales reps for Interface Carpet, Gwen Lauridson.
She is incredibly driven, hardworking, and is a great problem-solver in
getting the client what they need.

I was lucky enough to travel to Jordan during the course of the project
and see the final project published.

Do you have a charity that is close to your heart?

What is your biggest achievement to date – personal or professional?
