Construction of a New 4-Story Tower
When Providence Holy Cross Medical Center decided to remove the contractor, inspection team, and project managent team for their new 4-story patient tower project at the completion of the steel erection, they brought The Stahl Companies on board to take over. The resulting project was conducted in two phases.
Rebuilding damaged relationships with state and local agencies
Readdressing scope and construction costs
Addition of bed capacity
Enhancement of Med/Surg, Labor and Delivery departments, and GI lab
This phase was made possible by significant construction savings in Phase 1 and was delivered via change order so that additional OSHPD inspections were not necessary.
Changing the 4th floor from a permitted shelled space to a built out space
Addition of a major central plant
