Alex Pena started as a Project Manager with us on April 1st of 2018. This month he celebrates 3-years with The Stahl Companies, now as a Senior Project Manager. He has proven to be an outstanding asset to our Project Management Team. Alex’s initial assignment was the management of the Emergency Department/Urgent Care project at Providence Saint Joseph Hospital in Burbank. Around that same time, our team was also in the process of completing the Genetics Suite project while starting the 797-800 USP Pharmacy Remodel/Upgrade project.
Alex’s background is in construction and non-structural seismic design, working directly with and for the owner. “I believe my experience and personal development in representing the owner has been an achievement in itself for me. My goal is to continue to grow in this area, to keep learning from the variety of experts, and more importantly, to continue to share with others on our team the lessons learned. I have been fortunate enough to experience several noteworthy projects, some of these projects coming during a time of great community need making them that much more special to me. These projects were successfully completed at Providence Saint Joseph’s during, or at the onset of, COVID and include the set-up of negative pressure rooms in the current ER, a P-tube project upgrade throughout the hospital, Allinity machine for COVID testing (this project was fully completed in 3 weeks!), Oxygen trailers, and EOC Assessment.”
It has been a busy and productive three years for Alex and our Team is thrilled to watch his continued growth and successes.
