Harborview Behavioral Health, Facility Survey

This behavioral health facility was in the process of being sold, and the new owner requested Stahl to perform a survey for compliance and quality.

A change in ownership often triggers a visit from OSHPD and the new owner took a proactive approach. Stahl reviewed all aspects that OSHPD would be likely to inspect, including maintenance related issues. We then provided a comprehensive report that addressed concerns, supported by photos. The fact that parts of the facility were licensed as behavioral health and other parts were not created a challenge. Therefore, developing a report that reflected actual compliance issues required an understanding of the multitude of requirements of OSHPD, CDPH, and the Dept of Social Services (DSS). Our ability to understand and research requirements enabled us to provide a detailed report and recommendations to the client, which in turn prepared them for agency surveys. Survey and report completed in the 3rd quarter of 2018.
