A Doubly Charitable Occasion

October 2, 2020

At the beginning of October, The Stahl Companies sponsored an event by donating a prize of Craftsman tools which turned out to have a doubly charitable result because the prize winner, in turn, asked that it be donated, preferably in the fire-ravaged Santa Rosa area.

The senior living community found to be of greatest need was Acacia Lane, developed by PEP Housing. Dominic Roybal, Director of Property Management, and Jennifer Harris, Operations Manager, expressed their appreciation along with that of their maintenance crew who were excited to receive quality tools. Dominic and Jennifer are dedicated and passionate about serving their senior communities.

Acacia Lane’s fifty-four residents, occupying 50 apartments, were evacuated for 3 days due to power and smoke problems from the wildfires. Luckily, the senior community didn’t suffer property damage however the power outages caused the loss of the residents’ refrigerated foods.

PEP manages 19 lowincome senior independent living facilities in Northern California.
