Bea Hensleit – How She Leads

November 16, 2021

Recently, one of our business and project partners, Bea Hensleit, was featured in The Business Journal supplemental publication known as How She Leads. She shared with us a little from that article:

“As the daughter of a coach, I was not only taught how to throw a spiral but more importantly, I was taught that if you are not a part of the solution, you are part of the problem. That philosophy has guided me throughout my initial nursing, regulatory healthcare career, and life. My desire has always been to assist California healthcare systems as they navigate a complex, ever-changing environment.”

For our newsletter, she provided a couple of “Tips from Bea” for our readers:

  1. Always ask for input from the staff who are going to be using the space you are building—they tend to know what “best practice” is and will reduce the need to “re-do” later.
  2. We all get so busy that we neglect how important it is to “network” and keep up to date on the latest trends and the latest regulatory requirements. Not all requirements that will be compulsory are written down.  There are community standards.
  3. Remember that you are blessed to be able to participate in an industry that is designed to positively impact the health of individuals in our community—there is nothing better!   We are blessed!
