New Tower Transition Planning

The rapidly expanding community of Lubbock, Texas will soon be supported by a new 200,000 sf, 149-bed tower on the CMC campus. The Hope Tower will open with 89 new patient rooms and will have the capacity to add an additional 60 beds to accommodate future needs. This beautiful facility will feature a new, modern chapel and a 3-story atrium to fill the space with light. On this exciting project, our team is providing FF&E project management, transition planning, and equipment logistics services.

Although design was started in 2017, the project was halted for 2-1/2 years due to COVID. Construction restarted in early 2022, with an opening planned for fall of this year.

A new entrance to the Covenant Medical Center Campus will be housed in the Hope Tower and a large new parking lot will be added to the campus. Our team is managing the planning and design of extensive interior and exterior wayfinding signage and the retrofitting of signage for all three of the existing campus towers.

Our transition planning services include detailed scheduling of all aspects of occupancy planning, along with coordination of new medical equipment, furniture, and artwork. Our team is working with the Covenant team on occupancy planning and will manage the multi-phased move into the new tower.
