Dignity Health – Care Connect Infrastructure

Dignity Health engaged The Stahl Companies to manage the Care Connect project that included the installation of new cabling at five Sacramento area facilities simultaneously. These facilities are now fully operating on a paperless system. To accomplish this, The Stahl Companies’ tasks included:

• Upgrading IT and power infrastructures to support a wireless charting system
• Upgrading the cooling capacity of existing telecom closets to meet the higher heat loads due to ever-increasing demands
• Installing new PBX systems
• Adding new emergency power service to all nurse stations within the facility
• Overseeing and coordinating related construction projects in patient rooms with the construction team and the facility user groups
• Overseeing infection control issues
