Dignity Health, Mercy General Hospital – Hybrid Operating Room

Mercy General Hospital engaged The Stahl Companies to manage the construction of a new Cath Lab. The work involved:

• Demolition of existing Cath Lab
• Conversion of the space into a Hybrid Endovascular Operating Room
• Performing work while the adjacent hospital Cath Labs and waiting rooms remained occupied
• Ensuring timely permitting and smooth processing
• Leveraging existing relationships with OSHPD field staff to identify and resolve any Agency concerns before issues arose to interrupt the flow of work

This project was completed in five months, from OSHPD permit issuance to receiving California Department of Public Health licensing. It was also delivered within budget.
