Providence, Saint Joseph Medical Center – Other Projects

GI Medivator Replacement  

New medivators for Saint Joseph’s GI Lab were installed. Construction occurred in three successive phases. After replacing one non-operational and two functional but older medivators with three new devices, new endo drying cabinets were installed in this GI scope cleaning room. Compressor system re-piping work was also completed.

Imaging, MRI 

Initial construction and installation of a new MRI has been completed and CDPH has granted occupancy. Coming in under budget is allowing the facility to consider the additional scope, replacing an old MRI chiller.     

Wireless Access Points 

Providence, Saint Joseph in Burbank was one of several Providence locations undergoing a wireless access points infrastructure upgrade. The project timeline suffered an initial delay due to materials procurement challenges. The project is currently in close-out. 

PT/OT 

PSJMC received approval for a new Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy build-out within the new 12-bed Urgent Care building in which they will share the lobby.  The HVAC redesign and electrical wiring have been completed. Painting is in process.
