Three Phase Remodel Provide USP 797/800 compliant compounding with the new Hazardous and Sterile Compounding Rooms

Construction of Phase 2 of the pharmacy renovation is complete and the Hospital is currently working with CDPH and the California State Board of Pharmacy on occupancy approvals.

Consisting of 3 phases to the 3,500 sq.ft. pharmacy to accomplish compliance with USP 797/800 standards, Phase 1 focused on building a new narcotics storage room. Phase 2 (the compliance phase) has been the building of the clean rooms with upgrades per the standards, while also upgrading the entire HVAC system for the pharmacy to achieve the required air changes. Phase 3 will center on creating a new compounding prep area.

Phase 3 restarted construction December 1st. It will be broken out into 4 small phases (A,B,C,D).

The Board of Pharmacy recertified the space the first week of April 2021. Phase 3C was completed 7/16/21 with Phase 3D projected to begin 7/27/21.
