Acute Care Addition

Debby served as the Transition Planner on this new 152,000sf, acute care addition in the City of Stockton, California. The project included 78 new beds for labor & delivery, medical surgery and neonatal intensive care. Debby organized the team to prepare for licensing and occupancy. She created a comprehensive transition schedule to include all preparation tasks and critical milestones to meet the occupancy schedule. The Move Plan was then developed and included an hour-by-hour schedule, staffing assignments and descriptions of pre-move, move and post move tasks. Existing equipment was inventoried and verified. Debby also created detailed scopes of work for vendors and movers required for the move, and coordinated the crews.

The labor & delivery, medical surgery and NICU units were relocated from the existing hospital to the new pavilion in 2010. The move was accomplished flawlessly, on time and within budget.
